we will be reopening in the JUNE 2011 due to finale judging.  A New template, scene references, and a somewhat edited background story will be done by that time.

Still waiting on replies from the judges to determine the winner of the Tournaments of Thear.  After which the process for creating the finale prize will start as well as the handing out of the tournament prizes.  Sorry that the judging is taking so long.

***OCT 12, 2009 afternoon ***

Tournament of Thear: Quest for the Devouring Blade is hereby closed until June 2010 of next year.  Thank you all who have promoted, submitted, chatted, watched, and/or joined the staff for this tournament.  I must admit that this was a rather poorly planed OCT that has been limping along since the beginning.  Next year there will be more Pieces of reference art for the World of Thear a more neutral template that wont clash with characters.  And hopefully a larger following.  Please support or join the OCT's in our affiliate list if you like.

Until next year, the Devouring Blade shall be laid to rest until it stirs and awakens once more.

So.  we only have 4 people who have submitted anything for this tournament, they are and .  If they still want to participate it will be 3 rounds of 1 on 1 fights.  Each time fighting a different opponent and in a different location. Whoever gets 2 out of 3 wins or more goes to the final round and then the cross finale.

(I might have to change my resolve about the deadline since there was a good number of people who want the tournament to go forward.)

The Keeper Dragons have been unleashed onto the world of Thear!  The Stage has been set for the whereabouts of the 13 keys to be discovered once more.  May the earth tremble in Thear for these three powers of death and destruction walk the land and raid the air again!

Alright the new deadline for auditions is Saturday October 10th 11:59 PM (PST).  that means you have a month from now to get your stories and characters done,  and also we only need a minimum of 5 more contestants before we can start,  this will of course be after cutting out the first round.

So what are you waiting for! Get those entries in!  Remember even if you are beaten in the first or second round there is a chance of your character(s) returning for the semi finals!



P.S. This is the one and only extension for auditions.  If we don't have enough contestants to meet the minimum we will have to council the tournaments until June of next year.

ATTENTION ALL COMPETITORS!  Due to a lack of insight from your tournament host the auditions deadline will be extended to an unknown date as of now(expect it to be a friday late September though).  I apologize to those who have been working frantically these past few weeks in hopes of finishing your stories by this friday.

Also please spread the word about this tournament and thanks to those who have already done so.

  The 13th key is given to the wildcard contestant in the Semifinals and will be revealed at that time as well.

Audition Template has been changed into a bigger workspace.  Aslo the colors should be easier on the eyes.  Please use the new template.  the older one will be accepted but is no longer available as you can see.
